Quick Service dining plan

Hello,

We are staying at Caribbean Beach Resort in August for 21 nights and we have the free quick service dining plan included with our trip. Although we have been to Disney many, many times before we have never stayed on site or taken any notice of the dining plans.

My question is:

We were told that the dining plans only last for the amount of nights that you are there. So we should have 21 days worth of credits. However I have also read on various different sites that the dining plan expires on the day that you check out at 12. Does this mean that if we start using our credits the day that we arrive and then have some saved up for the last day, we would be able to eat on the first AND last day? OR does it mean that if we start using them on the day we arrive they would expire before we could use them on our last day? OR will they just not work on the day that we arrive?

I ask this because we are planning to visit the other Orlando parks in the middle of our holiday and would prefer not to use our credits on this day and save them for our last day.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Looking in the QS myself. According to the CM I recently spoke to, the credits start from check-in. Not sure about the expiration time on the last day.

You can use your credits if you have some remaining on your last day unt midnight, so if you have 2 left you can use one at 9 am and another at 10, but once it hits 12:01 they are gone! Usually when I go to CBR you get the sit down dining for free, are you sure you do not have this one?

If you are staying 21 nights, you have 21 credits per person. So assuming you're going to the parks on your last (22nd) day, you will still be able to use your credits then - until midnight (on that 22nd day moving into the 23rd day which you should be gone) I think is where the language gets confusing. We do this all the time. We stayed 9 nights but didn't use credits one day during our trip and on the 10th day before we left, we used up our last 2 credits for a lunch even after we checked out.

Hope this helps!

The Quick Service dining plan allows 2 quick service meals and one snack per person per night of your reservation. All of your credits are given at check in and can be used as you want to throughout the course of your trip. Any unused credits will expire on midnight of your check out day. Here is the brochure describing the plan: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/me...altDisneyWorld/en_us/PDF/2015QuickService.pdf Marie

You are correct in that you get one snack per day as well. The issue is snack credits and meal credits don't stack so saying 63 credits would be misleading. The original question was about when do they expire not sure how we got on how many credits you get.

We Brits get the DDP free with deluxe resorts or the QS plan free with moderate resorts. We can then pay a bit extra to upgrade from the QS to the DDP which is what I have done

Thanks everyone :)

That clears it up for me and now I can start planning our itinerary! Can't wait!

We were only offered a quick service dining plan with our holiday but to be honest that's probably best for us....we normally don't have time to eat....we are far too busy marching from one ride to the next :)

Thanks again for all your help
