If I book my trip with the 25-40% off resort discount, can I also use the free quick service dining PIN offer that I received?
It's going to be a way better savings than the free dining PIN.
I just called about it yesterday!
Speaking of which -- Anybody getting an extraordinary amount of PIN's in their email lately?
I haven't gotten any emails with PIN's recently - where are you getting them and where can I sign up!
In my email roughly about 1 every two weeks over the last 2 months!
That's where I got the original 40% off offer that finally convinced my wife we could stay at the Poly! :animwink:
I don't know if it's a coincidence but it started ever since I started inquiring about information about the DVC to Disney.
I definitely got the one about the 40% offer about a month ago from Disney Destinations, but nothing much since. I wouldn't be surprised if you got on another list when you inquired into DVC. Maybe I should do the same even though I'm several years away from being able to buy into that. Any other sources for special offers you'd recommend?
If you already booked your trip using the % off, & you want to switch it to the Free QS, just call them up and they'll switch it for you. They can even tell you which deal comes out to be a better money saver. I had booked my trip with the discount and last week got a QS pin as well I called and the CM was very helpful. I ended up switching out the promos and took the PIN instead...it saved me $372...however I am staying at a Value...Pop. So in my case I saved more with the PIN...but if you're staying a Deluxe...the % off the room will be a way better deal!
We booked 2 rooms using the % off discount, then I recieved a pin for free quick service, it would have been a savings for 1 of the rooms but not the other, either way we were not able to change the offer for the one room as Pop was full at that time . Apparently they need to cancel the original reservation and re-book.:hammer:
Were the rooms booked under 2 different names? If the 2 rooms were booked under a single name and your name appears on the reservation somewhere then you should have been able to take advantage of the pin code. I was told that as long as the person who received the pin code is listed on the reservation (doesn't have to be the lead person on the reservation, just listed as a guest on the reservation) then they can still take advantage of it. So if both rooms were booked together than both rooms would be able to use the pin code.
