I enjoyed Raglan Road and I know people love it, but I can't wait to try Homecomin' and thanks to your post I've managed to book it, so thanks! Hadn't realised they'd opened up reservations!

😂😂 I've been checking everyday and then panicked! It's really atmosphere vs. food. I'm sure raglans food is great but Homecomin's food is food we crave!! So I switched!

Dang it y'all!!!! Now I'm scared I shouldn't have switched. My husband pickedh
Homecomin so I guess if it's a flop it's his fault not mine 😂

I've only eaten at Raglan. I know I'm in the minority here, but I thought the food was just ok. I did enjoy the dancing a lot though. I just looked at the menu for Homecomin' and I'm very hungry now! I know which one I'd pick!

That's what got my husband was the menu...it just sounded more appealing. My grandmother was "off the boat" as she called it from Ireland so I'm not sure it would be as good :)

May I tag a question onto this that's kind of related? Would y'all rather eat at Homecookin' or go bowling and eat at Splitsville?

I've never heard of it until now. Is it new? The menu sounds delicious!! We're going in June and our first day is always at Disney Springs.

P.S. My late paternal grandpa was literally "fresh off the boat" from Czechoslovakia and my mom's whole side was from there too, so I hear ya. I'm sure you grew up with some delicious authentic food! :)

Our family as a whole enjoys Raglan well over Homecomin' as a full dining experience. Homecomin' drinks and appetizers are very strong though.

Agree we always find ourselves going back to and enjoying Raglan. We liked the food at Homecomin, but we were not crazy about the atmosphere, and found the service to be a little bit off putting or snobbish. They just seemed like they didn't want to be bothered. I would still go back sometime food wise.

Grandma from Ireland and a grandfather from Italy....so we were pretty lucky in the food department growing up 😂 We can't go to Olive garden or anywhere bc it's just not even Italian at this point!

2 vastly different places and food. Both are very good in their own right. I prefer late nights at RR, sit at the bar and have food and drinks or relax on the patio. Homecomin has become a staple meal for a lunch at some point every trip. The food is well prepared and the menu is very good. The moonshine drinks are also a huge benefit. And many times they have "secret" menu items you can ask about. They are usually seasonal but Ive had 2 desserts there that were amazing.

While Raglan is fun, we don't feel like the food is anything rave-worthy. We went to Homecomin' right after it opened and while they were still working out some kinks, I think even in that stage, the food was better than Raglan. That being said, it's just food, and you may want to keep Raglan if having an entertainment factor with your meal is important.

After we thought about it for a bit we thought the entertainment at RR may be TOO much....and that's only because we are going to be at blizzard beach all day and we thought it might be too much for the two littles after busy waterpark day.
