Okay... looks like people rarely stop by this section of the forums, but I'll give it a shot =)

My friends and I are going to WDW for 7 days in February. We're planning on spending one day at either of the Universal parks. Which do you think would be better for us to spend our limited Universal time at?

Depends on what type of experience you are looking for.....

If you are really into thrill rides, I would suggest IOA, because of Hulk, Dueling Dragons, Jurrasic Park, Spider-Man), etc.....

If you are looking for a more layed back approach, a park where you can experience everything in the park with plent of time left over in the day, I would suggest USO.....

Now, if you are just interested in the major rides and have money to burn, get the 2-park hopper, so you can hit the best of both worlds and skip the rest....

Well, I love thrill rides, but my boyfriend and our friend don't, haha. I guess we'll probably hit USO so I don't have to do everything by myself

Also note that IOA is most affected by bad weather. On a beautiful summer day, IOA is a blast. When it storms, the amount of attractions that are available goes downhill real quick. You're basically limited to Spiderman, the Jurassic Park Discovery Center, Poseidon's Fury, and Cat In The Hat.

The only major attraction at USF that closes in bad weather is Jaws.

In February, you probably won't hit that much rain, if any (not to discredit you, DigitalDisney! Summers really are a bear...). I don't have anything else to add, except that your Mad Hatter avatar rocks.

Thanks for all the info everyone! (and the avatar compliment :p)
We are going from 2/1 - 2/8, so it will be before President's day. I think we'll be hitting USO.
I'd say we could do both parks in one day, but that night we'll be going to see La Nouba :D

We just got back from there and had no lines for anything. We rode 2-3 times in a row! Check online or call them directly to get $85.99 per person tickets for 7 days to both parks. If it's as slow as when we were there, you may be able to get in both parks in a day if you plan and run around! Definitely do the Dueling Dragons roller coaster at Universal Studios. We really liked Posiedon's Fury too at the same park! It's really spread out but doesn't offer quite as many attractions as Disney. But it's way cheap for the tickets but $10 to park!!! Don't bother with the $15 VIP parking, it's really no better. Have fun!
