quick downtown disney question

hello all! i'm taking a day trip to SoCal soon & had a question. we won't be able to go to the parks this time but i was wondering if we could go to downtown disney & look around without paying for parking (like it is in florida). since the parks are right there i wasn't sure if the rules are different & you had to pay for parking or not. thanks!

You can do that. I'd suggest you go to CityWalk, though. There's only so much to do in DtD. CityWalk is way more vibrant and fun. Just a suggestion. Enjoy your time in CA, wherever you go.

I believe you get three hours free at DTD, which should be plenty and you can get extra time (I forget how much) if your parking ticket is validated at a sit-down restaurant or the movie theater I believe.

I was just there this past weekend. As mentioned above it's 3 hours free parking and an additional 2 hours if you get your ticket validated at a sit-down restaurant or the movies theater.
