I don't know how it works at every resort, but the ones I have stayed at have a few benches and no place for 'lining up' for the bus. Everyone sort of stands around, and when the bus they want pulls up, people begin to line up. In all the years I have been going, there is usually never a 'I was here first' mentality...we are all going to get on the bus, so if one member of a party came running up from going back to the room, I have no problem with it.
I have witnessed a woman once screaming and berating a bus driver because she did not like the way the bus line at the park was loading. She did not want to wait in the line, she felt that people with children should be allowed to get on first and then everyone else could board. She obviously did not want to wait...but that's part of the bus fun at WDW.
Wasn't there a You Tube video last year of a guy who threw an infant (yes, threw an infant) at someone on the bus when a fight erupted about getting on the bus?
