I don't know how it works at every resort, but the ones I have stayed at have a few benches and no place for 'lining up' for the bus. Everyone sort of stands around, and when the bus they want pulls up, people begin to line up. In all the years I have been going, there is usually never a 'I was here first' mentality...we are all going to get on the bus, so if one member of a party came running up from going back to the room, I have no problem with it.

I have witnessed a woman once screaming and berating a bus driver because she did not like the way the bus line at the park was loading. She did not want to wait in the line, she felt that people with children should be allowed to get on first and then everyone else could board. She obviously did not want to wait...but that's part of the bus fun at WDW.

Wasn't there a You Tube video last year of a guy who threw an infant (yes, threw an infant) at someone on the bus when a fight erupted about getting on the bus?

I think I remember somebody post that specific video on the forums sometime last year or the year before... it was a while ago, I can't exactly remember. I think there was another video that went around briefly of a bus driver throwing a punch at somebody, it might've been the same video for all I know.

I went in search of that after I read what you guys wrote. My God, some people are terrible. I can't believe (or well, sadly I can) that he attacked the driver let alone threw his own baby. Yikes. Good to know they were banned from WDW and the driver didnt get in trouble

We obviously have a difference of opinion because I think common decency would say that a medical issue is different than average line cutting.

Just ignore unkadugs comments. Thats all he does on here is try to bait people into arguing with him....I no longer respond to any of his posts

Unfortunately there are some really sick or negligent people in the world, and unfortunately they sometimes wind up vacationing at Disney. I remember reading something else about a husband and wife leaving their infant in its stroller out in the Florida heat on "accident" while they went inside to ride PotC. Thankfully a CM saw the child and attended to it before something worse happened.

Don't even engage with unkadug or flynnibus they like to be cyber bullies and start arguments with people, they both need to go on a date with each other to a land far far away.....
Cyber bully? That's rich....so standing up for my beliefs and calling out injustice is bullying?

Perhaps you need to go back to the mom's boards.

This thread has sorta derailed... Getting huffy over some posts from a day or two ago seems pointless now, especially since the discussion's already come and gone.

huh? we're always at the deluxes and i've never seen anything like this at all.

The values have actual rope queues at the bus stop for each park. The mods and deluxes have gazebo-like structures with no actual queue.

Everybody's all buddy buddy at the queue-less bus stops when there aren't many people. If the bus is a little late, or it arrives from *$@#()! Kidani Village 60% full when everyone needs to get to Wishes, then it becomes every man for himself. I prefer the queue.

One Little Spark...
This thread saddens me. Why be concerned about it? I don't know the situation the other person is in, and maybe there is a good reason they did what they did. Frankly, if someone is line jumping or cheating the system, it's really a poor reflection on them. I just sortof of shake my head when I see something blatent like this (generally at busses), and think about how sad it must be for the children of that family, that they are learning such uncouth behavior.

I spend a lot of money to go to Disney, and I'm there to have fun. I surely won't let a simple misunderstanding (or a blatant act of rudeness) ruin my trip.

I can't say it is something I have really noticed, you get the odd person trying to join the rest of their family, which is ok, even when people are streching the boundaries of reasonable I try not to let it wind me up! If you think WDW has problems with queue jumping you should experience Port Aventura in Spain.... it is horrendous there!

At POP Century, they have chains keeping everyone in an orderly line, similar to the park bus loading areas. At most mod/delux hotels usually just a a couple of benches in the bus waiting area, similar to Downtown Dinsey bus loading area. Our experience at AKL is when the bus arrives sometimes people push to get on the bus in no orderly fashion.
