Where is a good spot to watch illuminations?

How far in advance do they post park hours and eride nights?

I saw Illuminations near Germany when I went and it was a pretty good view. Can't answer your other questions though.

Actually, the Cantina de San Angel has great views, but you have to get there about two hours early to get a seat, and the latecomers tend to get kind of pushy about it. Good place to grab a snack and stake out a table and chairs though.
