Questions after re-booking a trip, please help!

Hi everyone! So as I already posted a while ago I will be staying at All Stars Music during late December-early January with my 9 year old daughter. This will be our first time onsite. I booked through Orbitz about a month ago, and today I received an email with a much better offer for the same hotel during the same days! I called and they said that I would have to cancel and book again. I cancelled last night and booked again today. I then called Disney and they linked my new reservation. One odd thing I noticed was that even after I cancelled, my fastpasses were not erased, and I am more than 30 days away from my arrival date. I asked them about this and they said that I could keep the same ones because I did it in less than 24 hours. They also told me I didn't need to rebook the magical express or anything else. They only changed my magicband colors again, my address and phone number, and told me to do online check in again. I am worried. This Is it? I don't want to deal with any surprises when I get there, specially on our first onsite trip. Thanks!

The FP+ reservations for cancelled reservations are cleared out only once every day or two, so if you cancelled and rebooked before that purge, you should be OK. (Just keep an eye on them for the next 24-48 hours to be sure)

I'd call Magic Express directly to double-check with them about your booking, especially if you've already gotten your yellow luggage tags. Since your reservation number has changed, the old tags won't point to the proper reservation info when the barcode is scanned by the luggage people. That could be an issue. DME's direct number is 866-599-0951.

Thank you! I had to fill out the online form again since I couldn't get them on the phone. I am waiting for the confirmation. I am worried about the fastpasses not working since they were originally linked to another reservation.

Your fastpasses should be fine. Make screenshots on your mobile phone and/or print them out from your computer. If for some reason they are lost then you can call and usually they will rebook them for you. Congrats on finding a better deal! That always makes the trip even that much sweeter!

They should be fine. Last time we went, I had to change our ressie because my husband ended up not getting to go with us and since he was the "lead person" on the ressie, they gave us a new reservation number and everything. They also told us the FP+ would be fine until midnight, so we just had to link the new ressie number by then. Everything worked exactly like they said it would. You should be fine, but just make sure they are still showing on MDE. If they are, you should be set. Have a great trip!!

Thank you! Can you please tell me how I can check if I am booked for DME?
