I'm coming in May of 2014. I'm coming from Syracuse, NY. With the recent events in Boston, are backpacks still allowed or not?

Backpacks are still allowed, and all bags still require going through the security check.

I imagine they will search bags more thoroughly but WDW is a place where many use backpacks.

I do make exceptions for people of the female persuasion at certain times. Otherwise, pockets ONLY!
