We have never been here before and plan on trying it during our next trip this summer. We have a party of 8. For those of you who have been there before, is this place able to accommodate a party of 8 with all of us sitting together?

Thanks very much in advance!

For bigger parties I think you would be seated in the back on a regular table. Can't confirm but I think the cars fit up to 6, splitting up the group with 3 rows of 2 people.

It is a fun experience but for a large group it would be hard to sit together or talk, at least in the cars. I have never been seated on the tables in the back so that experience might be different. I do think they would accommodate a party of 8 and it is a great meal if you are interested in the unique "drive-in" replication experience. If you wanted a nice meal to enjoy time with all of your party, i'd suggest 50s primetime or mama melrose instead.

I believe 6 can sit in one of the cars only two sit together. You are all facing the front. The traditional tables in the back accommodate more but not sure about 8.

The largest group I've been there with is a party of 6. We had a car, but it was the kind where we all face each other, and we took up the entire table. I believe any party larger than 6 goes into the back non-car tables.

There are cars in the back where there is the front and rear of the car only and then two tables with 4 chairs each where you face the center that can seat a total of 8 within a single car.

Our trip with a large group was split up at Sc-Fi to cars of 6 (3 rows x 2 per row = 6). You do face front and it is damn near impossible to talk to the rows or row behind you. The aisles are too wide to have cross-talk with nearby car, and there was a halfwall between rows of cars to car-to-car talks was frustrated. In addition to the seating difficulties, it was loud and noisy. Also we were assigned to cars as they became open, so trying to choose seating was not possible. We were not aware of the bigger tables at the back. In our opinion, it is not a place to try to have a conversation or even to enjoy a relaxed meal. It is an experience that we found worth it to undergo but did not cause any of us to have any real desire to repeat.

We are a party of 10 and have eaten there many times. We have always been seated in cars they will seat us in a couple either across the aisle from each other or over the wall side by side. It’s not a big deal cuz we can still communicate with the children if we need to but really it not an easy place to carry on conversation unless it’s just 2 of you. You would have to turn around backward in your car and with the movies playing. Anyways it’s always worked out fine for us and our 8 children

They'll split your group up if they need to. No big deal. What I must tell you is that our last meal there three years ago was the last time we visited Sci-Fi. Small portions, not great quality, and pricey. We've gone to Mama Melrose's or Prime Time instead. Or, we chose to just go to the Baseline Taphouse for some appetizers and flights.
