Question on Room Upgrades!

Going to disney in June and staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Booked a standard view room. Any tricks or suggestions on how we can get an upgraded room when we arrive! Thanks for the help! We really want a savannah view room, but can't afford it!

If there are rooms available in the better rooms like the savannah view ones, they should automatically upgrade you. If they don't it doesn't hurt to ask.
