Question for our Kingdom Konsultant people

Apologies in advance for stupid questions -- I have always booked our Disney trips myself so I'm new to this concept.

I just recently booked a 7-night on the Fantasy in September for our 10th anniversary. I will eventually want to add some WDW days to the front end, back end, or both; haven't decided the specifics on where/how many days just yet.

My husband and I work full time and have two small kids. We're busy. I'm not sure I want to be on the phone a zillion times with Disney between now and then, and I don't want to have to watch WDW like a hawk for room discounts, etc. I'm already feeling like I can't keep the 8 million different things I will have to book in advance straight between WDW and DCL. Even though I already have the cruise portion booked, could I hand off to a Kingdom Konsultant and have them take care of the details from here? Am I correct in understanding that it is no cost to me to work with a travel agent? What kind of benefits does this offer?

Thanks for your insight in advance! I appreciate the expertise here.

I can help a little until the pros get here.

They will have zero problem making reservations for a Disney trip before and/or after your cruise and they can take care of pretty much every detail including your dining reservations. I do not know if they are doing FP+ reservations as that came about after I was an agent for them.

If you want to transfer the cruise you already booked to them, I am 99% sure they can take care of that as well with a simple form.

The service will not cost you a dime. They are paid a commission by Disney.

The advantage is not having to do any of the work yourself as well as having a single point of contact. No searching for promotion, no getting up at 6:00 AM to make ADRs, no hoping you don't get that CM that started yesterday, and no waiting endlessly on hold to make changes to your reservation.

You book, you go to Disney. KK takes care of all the rest.

The agent you will deal with eats, breathes and sleeps Disney. They have forgotten more than most people know. I have never seen a more dedicated owner and group of people in my life. I still continue to be a client of theirs even though I was a former agent and can do it all myself.

Hi Polynesian Girl!!! As usual, Master Yoda is correct. You can select your agent from any one of our great staff including myself. Feel free to read about all our agents here: http://kingdomkonsultant.com/ouragents.html Any one of us would be happy to assist you. We recognize the fact that most people today are super busy. That is why many of our clients continue to use our services despite the fact that many such as Master Yoda know a great deal and could do it themselves. We can be reached by email or a simple phone call. All of our e mails are our first names and the company's e mail address. Mine for example is Marie@KingdomKonsultant.com The number to the main office is 1866-566-7858 and most of us have phone numbers dedicated so our clients can reach us even when we aren't in the office specifically. We may still be working, but many of us do so via telecommuting or at odd hours, when the office is closed. I look forward to hearing from you! Marie

You can transfer the cruise to them if it was booked less than 30 days ago.

Yeah they are really making it more and more difficult to get a ta on your reservation

30 day limit on adding a ta to an existing ressie
No adding a ta to onboard bookings when on ship unless the ta was on your current ressie ...grrrrrr

I had spoken to Cruise Line and supposedly you can definitely switch to a TA even if you did book it onboard without a TA on the original reservation. I havent had the situation arise, but wouldnt have any problem certainly trying!!! Also dont forget that with a cruise booking, we do offer onboard credits just for booking with Kingdom Konsultant Travel. Check out our website www.KingdomKonsultant.com for more details! Marie

.

They refused to do it on my cruise just in November. My ressie had no ta on it, and they would not put my ta on my new booking. I had to send in the form after my trip to add the ta

Oh it definitely has to be done in writing, to switch control over to the TA of your choice but it can be done. Marie

Yes, what I had originally said was...

"No adding a ta to onboard bookings when on ship..." - They would not allow you to specify a TA on your new reservation unless that TA was on your existing. You had to do it after the fact via the faxed form.... which of course has the 30 day limit.

Both the 30 day limit and this no adding a TA if it wasn't there prior are relatively new changes... which Disney is doing a poor job of communicating. The 30 day limit they didn't mention AT ALL when I booked in 2013 and it cost me hundreds of dollars because I wanted to consider switching which TA I was using so I did not add a TA at the time of initial booking.. as I was going to do some shopping when I got home. Go later to add the TA and it was too late... and then that situation came back to haunt me AGAIN this year as when I booked while on board I could not add my TA to the booking, because my current booking had no TA! I had to wait till I got home and fax in the form. Very bad customer service IMO.
