Question for dolbyman

Dolby, why do my requests keep disappearing from your queue? For the third straight night now, my request has disappeared from your queue. The first time was Sunday night. I queued a file and waited for several hours. You signed off, but came back on later. I checked, and my request was still there. Four hours later I checked to see where I was in queue and I was GONE! There was nothing in "DCC Info" saying the request failed.

I requeued and waited for almost twenty-four hours in queue then left my computer running overnight so it could download. When I got up the next morning, my name was missing from your queue again!

I requeued again. After waiting for almost twenty-four hours, I went to bed last night # 1 in queue, and now I wake up to check the status, and once again, I'M NOT THERE. This is three whole days now I have waited in queue to be unexplicably kicked from your queue. I've checked "DCC Info" and there has never been a failure. This means I keep getting kicked from your queue each time. What's up?

Anybody else having trouble wasting days in Dolby's queue only to be kicked off for no apparent reason?

right now my server is pertty much crowded ...around 20 queues at a time (= maxed out) so it can take a long time to download ... my max upload is around 2gigs a day .. so the worst case scenario is that 19 peeps with 400 Megs each are in front of you that would mean around 4 days waiting :hammer:

all the queing is managed by the innvision script.. so I have no controll over it once I'm afk (work or sleeping)

then another thing .. my isp kicks me every 24h's, changing my ip, so it can happen that downloaders get kicked from my queue when the have an active download running .. (all other sould stay in)

I apollogize for any inconvinience that this may caused ... just drop me a message in the IRC channel (query me with a private massage) and we'll find a solution :wave:

Dolby... as flattered as I am having just looked at your queue and top ten most requested, I do feel guilty at everyone hogging your system! Many thanks (again) for helping me get my videos out there.
