Question about World of Disney

Hi everyone...I just got back from WDW (my tenth trip since 2000) with my girlfriend and my nephew (his 5th trip since 2001) and I had a blast. BUT my main question actually comes from standing in line to check out at the greatest store on earth: The World of Disney. While I was stading there I noticed that the people in front of me were getting a 20% discount on their purchase. Now I don't know if they were castmembers or not but I thought I would throw out this discussion point for everyone to talk about. When I go down to Disney World I end up spending the same amount regardless. That includes hotel and food and what not (btw I HIGHLY reccomend the Disney Dining Plan -It Rules) and I would like to extend that amount of swag I bring home by getting better discounts. I have a Visa Rewards card so that gives you 10% off WOD to help anyone else here. Any one else know of any discounts at WOD...or anywhere else for that matter and what you have to do to get it? Thanks a bunch.

Annual Passholder get a percentage off at WoD, as well as many other stores in Downtown Disney, and some restraunts around the resort.

Cast members also get discounts at some locations.

10% discount on items bought in Virgin Mega store...
Except for some restaurants no futher discounts are given... IMO

I think DVC members get a discount and Disney Visa Card holders get a discount if you spend over $25(?).

Thanks for the news. Anyone else got any more discount information? I took advantage this past time of the offer they had where you got the Disney Dining for free (again it's pretty sweet) so it was worth it. Also...when I took the survey (which usually my girlfriend takes) they mentioned if I had ever received COMP tickets. That struck me as odd. Anyone know of these? I mean I don't want to trip and fall and get comped but I didn't know if you had ever gotten something like that either. Don't mean to sound too bothersome...I'm just a huge fan and as big a fan as I am I know you all are MUCH more well informed than I. Thanks.

we book thru AAA and we get a discount card to use at WOD and a couple of other places that I can not remmeber off the top of my head.
