We went 12/01 and 7/02. It was the most amazing experience ever. I am usually a picky eater, however you'd be surpised what you try and realize that you like when you go there. I nearly died when I asked Victoria what foie grois was after we'd both tried it and couldn't decide wether it was a mushroom that had been soaked in butter or a piece of meat marinated in buttercream. But it was good! And we would never have tried it otherwise. The menu changes daily. When we went in July the menu was:
Amuse Bouche

Maine Lobster and Lentil Salad with Spicy Lemon Vinaigrette
Smoked Buffalo with Heirloom Tomatoes Hearts of Palm and
Balsamic

Terrine of Sorbet with Seasonal Fruits
Choice of:
Pyramid of Tanzani Chocolate Mousse with Strawberries
Warm Pineapple in a Crepe "Purse"
Hawaiian Kona Chocolate Souffle (VERY good - try the Godiva one

Caramelized Banana Gateau
Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee
Grand Marnier Souffle (VERY good!)
There is Wine Pairing available for $42pp and the menu is fixed price $85pp. It is definitely worth trying at least once. The waitstaff is so attentive you practically get spoiled. I went to the Ladies room (the restaurant has their own one which is quite something inside too) and as soon as I opened the door out into the entryway to go back to my seat the concierge Windsor was already halfway to my table with a new napkin on his arm and holding my chair out. And they never addresss you as sir or maam, it's always Mrs. ____ or Mr. ____. Toward the end of dinner the Maitre d goes around to each table and thanks each person (again Mr. ____ and Mrs. ____) for coming and asks how you are enjoying your meal, etc. There is generally a harpist, or a violinist playing intermittently thru out dinner. Definitely get the coffee wether you drink coffee or not, it is so cool how they do it.
Hope this info was helpful!
