I'm so excited!!! We just booked for the last week in November!!! I'm counting down already!! As many times as we've been to the World, we've never been there for the holidays! I'm so very excited that I get to see the gorgeous Christmas decor and special events this time! So, I was wondering about when do they do the Osbourne lights at HS? I read at dusk, but we have dining ressies at 50's at 7pm and I just want to make sure I won't miss the show. Also, how is the Epcot Candlelight Processional? Thanks for any help guys!!! :-)

The Osbourne lights are amazing! There's no specific show or time, it's a walk-through light display. So anytime after dark, you can head over & start walking through. Every 10 minutes the lights dance to music & it "snows". It takes longer than 10 minutes to do the walk through, so you won't miss the snow. I would head over after your dinner. =-)

The candlelight processional is beautiful - definitely check that out! The decorations at holiday time in Disney are truly magical. Visiting over the holidays was one of my favorite Disney trips. We'll be catching them again this year in mid-November, very excited!

They do have a lighting "ceremony" around dusk, basically someone gets chosen to throw the giant light switch and turn everything on. Outside of that, it's as DizneyPryncess described. Every so often the lights will dance to the music, other times they are just a solid string of lights. To see/hear all the music and dances I think you would need to hang around for an hour or so. Typically they keep that area of the park open for an hour or so after everything else closes, so you should be able to go over after dinner.

Lighting is usually around 6pm and they stay on till park closing. Every so ofter the lights dance to the music. They are such a wonder, you stand in the middle of the street and just turn around and take it all in!

We saw the Osborne Lights in November and we were the for the "ceremony" so we got to see them all come on at once which was really cool for my sister who had never seen them before (I saw them when they were on Residential Street back in 2001) Definitely hit them up after your dinner. they are beautiful!

If your ADRs is at 7 pm, you should have time to see them throw the switch to turn on the lights and then head to dinner at 50s. Then come back after dinner and stroll around.

Just beware -- the lights might be a prolonged visit for you, or depending on your tolerance for crowds a 5-minute visit. That's about my tolerance level for crowd events like that. I'll watch one set of dancing lights for the full 3 or 4 minutes, walk a bit along the side near the San Francisco end of things, and get out of there. Your mileage will of course vary.
