Question about ROTM

I've been reading everyone's reviews of ROTM, but I'm still not sure exactly what kind of ride it is! This is probably a really stupid question, I know. Is it more like Spiderman, where the car just moves up and down or is it an actual roller coaster like Space Mountain? Or maybe a combination of both? I'm just trying to figure out if I'm going to have to go on it alone or if I can drag my father on it with me!

Well, it isn't like The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, because the vehicle you are in doesn't work like it. There are two roller coaster parts: the first starts out with an LIM launch at 40 mph and then into the coaster part, which is more intense than Space Mountain. The second coaster part is very short and not very intense, though a few dips are involved.

Just don't ask a crew member working there how the coaster part is like, because they told my parents it was like Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster! :lol:

It is a combination dark ride and coaster. It has slow moving show scenes combined with high speed excitement.
