Question about O'hana

Wishes for 8? What time did the park close during your trip?

I will say that was a positive about us being pushed back is that we did get to see Wishes from the restaurant but it was for 10pm, not 8.
MK closed at 10pm or later that week. It was odd. When I started planning the trip the hours had the park closing at 8pm which isn't crazy at that time of year but the hours were changed and the park closed at either 10pm or 11pm through the week but Wishes stayed at 8pm.

I also heard the pig farmer story from our Keys the the Kingdom tour guide *many* years ago. An additional part of the story he included was that the farmer signed the contract back when WDW first opened, and the language said food waste from "Walt Disney World", not specifically the Magic Kingdom or the two hotels that existed at that point. Fast-forward 30 years and he now gets a MUCH larger supply...

Edit to add: Did a search and found this (poorly scanned) article mentioning the pig farmer, though it also mentions that the pig feed program didn't start until 1992, so the CM's story was a slight embellishment, but not too badly.

Good find! Thanks for adding it!

That farmer new what he was doing by contracting Disney world and not just what was open at that point in time, good for him lol.

This past Tuesday we had a 7:05 reservation for Le Celier in Canada, checked in for 7:03 and had a table by 7:07.

Our O'hana reservation was for 9:20, checked in for 9:19 and didn't get seated til 9:50. I was pretty upset about that.

I have ADRs for both -- LeCellier at 7:05 like you and O'hana for 6:50 on another day. Like hearing about the quick response for LeCellier. My mother is in a wheelchair and we have FP+ for Illuminations. Less concerned about the wait for Ohana as we don't have anything pressing after it.
