Question about EPCOT Center Book

I have an old EPCOT Center book, from 1983. The cover art is a painting of the entrance to EPCOT Center with people walking in and out and under Spaceship Earth. The original EPCOT Center logo is present and the title is Walt Disney World EPCOT CENTER.

I have seen another book with a picture of Spaceship Earth in the background and a model of Spaceship Earth in the foreground. It's title is Walt Disney's EPCOT CENTER.

I am curious if these books are similar and if not if you recommend I attempt to get the second one.

I think i have the smae book as you. Just thought i'd tell you.

The EPCOT book I have has A blown up spaceship earth on the top half of the cover and a smaller one with the pavilions on the lower half.

I've only read the second one but I found that it was superb. There's a lot of concept art in there and information about how the rides were put together. It also hinted at a few pavilions that never came to be.

Yeah, that sounds like the book I have. That's why I am wondering if they are basically the same book with different covers and different names.

I wouldn't want to just get a duplicate copy of a book I already have, know what I mean?

If I have the correct book, there were 2 editions. One was more elaborate than the other. Check the ISBN code...if they are the same book then the number will be the same. Updated, special editions, etc will have a different number.
