Question about early Indy stunt show

Hey, quick question for someone with a good memory. I was just perusing through the old guide books section of this site (yes, sad isn't it?), and I saw something odd in the 1989 Disney-MGM Guide. So this would be in the first half-year of operation. Anyway, the Indy stunt show is just listed in the guide as "Epic Stunt Show" and the attraction description makes no mention of Indy. Did the show originally not have an Indy theme? I certainly don't recall that, but the first time I was at the Studios was in 1990. Or did it have the Indy theme, but the guide doesn't advertise that? Why wouldn't it? I note that the guide already shows "Star Tours -- Coming in 1990" so Lucas was already on board. So what's up?

Hey all. Sorry for the first of many bumps, but we`re just home from the World.

Yep, the show was originally called the Indiana Jones Epic Stuntshow Spectacular, ever since it opened later than planned in September 1989. The format was the same as today, as was the theming, with minor changes taking palce over the years.

When the park was being planned, 2 stunt shows were planned in different arenas - one epic and one slapstick. I guess this is where the early guides got their info from.
