Question about DME

I guess I'll give the condensed version of my story first and see what happens!

My GF and I are going to WDW in Dec. I will be driving and arriving 2 days before her. She will be flying. Can we arrange for DME to pick her up even though it will be after I have checked in? We have only used DME once and that time everything was set up by our travel agent so I don't really know how the planning works for it.

Is it something that has to be set up in advance or can she just go to the DME counter at MCO when she arrives?

It has to be arranged in advance. Just call DME and give them the flight info and your reservation number. They'll take care of her.

Each person named on the reservation is entitled to a ride from MCO to the resort on or after the check-in date. Similarly, everyone's also entitled to a ride from the resort back to MCO on or before the check-out date.

Basically, everyone's allowed one ride each way. You can't get a ride before check-in day or after check-out day.
