We're going to be staying @ POP from 12/5 - 12/12 and I've heard that Disney Florist has mini Christmas trees that they'll deliver to your room. I have a couple questions:

Has anyone used them before?
Will they deliver it to our room before we check in?
Will they ship it home for us after our trip?

I'm planning on decorating our room too, I know it won't be Christmas yet, but I LOVE Christmas decorations :xmas:

 Thanks everyone!

That sounds like a pretty cool idea actually........I'd like to hear more about this. I didn't even know they did that.

Well it's not a tree, but I just used Disney Florist to get my Niece and her husband the Bride and Groom mouse ears.

They handed it to them right at Carribbean check-in which I'm sure saved the first argument of the marriage.

My Niece was desperate to get those ears and her plan was to go directly to Downtown Disney to buy them. I had to let the groom in on the secret since they were arriving before official check-in and I figured they'd end up with 2 pairs.

All I could picture was this poor guy getting ripped to shreds for suggesting they not buy the ears right away.

But back to Disney Florist...they were great. Highly recommended. I'm sure someone, if not the florists, will be able to arrange to ship it home for you as well.

They can have it waiting for you but I have a word of caution... they are VERY expensive and not heavily decorated. It would be cheaper to ship a small tree down and buy a bunch of ornaments at the Christmas store.
I tried to find some on the site, but they are not listed yet.

Very expensive indeed... Don't know exactly how high-priced, but a friend of mine sent me a stuffed Goofy, wrapped in plastic with a Disney bow on it... and she said the bow cost more than she thought the whole thing should have.

Having said that, at times they are the only option... the reason she used the Disney florist is because they were the only ones who could deliver to the Disney resorts without knowing a room number. I believe they are also the only ones who can physically have something in the room... otherwise, it's just at the front desk.

To be honest we have sent things to friends and family and have always been happy with the quality of the packages, and as with everything else at Disney, you expect to pay more.

Check out this tree (from another season)

This cost was over $200! (found info on another site's forums). :brick:

Some trees are listed at over $300.

We found an artificial 18" (prelit) tree for $7.99 a few years ago and took it with us. We bought decorations while there. We use it every year at home now. One thing to remember, if you want to put decorations on a tree, they don't sell those little wire ornament hangers anywhere (we used dentil floss to tie them on :lookaroun:lol:).

Some fans on one of the other boards (can't remember which) coordinate their travel dates ahead of time and pass trees from one family/room to another all holiday season long.

I'm glad you asked...I was getting ready to ask the same question. :xmas:

Does anyone have a Christmas Tree Shop near them? Last year they had the silver little trees and pink glittery ones with the Disney Princess' on them already. I think they ended up on clearance for about $7 by January 31.

Much more convient to ship down and at that price you don't feel bad to leave it there or pass it on.
