Question about Dining Plan

I will be leaving in less than 3 weeks for wdw, and will be using the dining plan for the first time. Is the tip included in the plan?? Or can I add extra for a tip if it is included? I couldn't find it anywhere, and I know you all will be of good help...

Yes, for the rest of this year tips are included. You are welcome to leave an additional tip - we usually did because we usually got great service. If you choose to do so, just leave it on the table when you leave like you would normally.

Hi we have used the dining 4 times and love it. Yes the tips are included for this year , next year they wont be. Disney has changed the plan a little for next year . We have left an extra tip for some really great servers. But you dont have to. Also if this helps you these are a few tips we have learned from going a few times with it. Just remember your snack is usually anything 4 dollars and under . This would include things in your gift shop of your hotel such as candies , soda bottles, cupcakes , big bag of chips etc.
Ask in the gift shop they will show you the area we bought trail mix and goofy candies to bring home. Hope this helps a little.
