Question about DDP and DVC Reservations

Hi All! I have a question. I'm planning on renting points from a DVC member for a vacation in June 2009 (only 385 days away). :lookaroun I want to purchase the Disney Dining Plan and I've heard that you don't have to purchase it at the same time you make the reservation. Is this true? When do you need to purchase the plan? Can you buy it from Disney or does the DVC member have to purchase it for you?

I am not sure if you can add it to your reservation later, but I do know you have to be on property to purchase the DDP.

As a DVC member we can add DDP anytime up to 24 hours before check-in. You then pay for it at check-in.

If you're renting points from someone, *they* will have to call Member Services to add the DDP to your reservation. This has to be done before you arrive. But then, like the poster said above, you don't actually pay for the Plan until you check in.

Add to that question...can I remove it at check in if I decide to not go the DDP when renting points?

Also is there anything else that differs at check in at DVC when you are renting points?
