Question about bounceback offers if you are an AP Holder

If we have a bounceback offer, will it be for hotel only, or will it require a park ticket/package purchase as well? Because we are AP holders we would just want to book a room and meal plan, not park tickets, but I don't know if this is an option with bounceback offers. Would we be just better off booking a room with the AP discount? Seems like for deluxes the best you usually get is 40% off either way, right?

There are different offers made, some are room-only/package and some include free dining which would not include room-only.

I have never heard of the AP package with meal plan being offered as a bounce back.

Adding dining would convert your room only to a package, since only a package can contain dining; by definition, a MYW package consists of room and tickets and optional components such as dining. The AP "package" with dining is one of the few exceptions.

In other words, to get dining, you almost always need to purchase tickets too.

Good to know. So basically we should take advantage of a AP "package" instead of doing a bounceback if we want to do dining.
