Question about BCV

We are thinking of changing the first 3 nights of our trip to the Beach Club Villas. My wife has never beeen to the Pool at the Beach club and to me it is the best pool at Disney. Can anyone tell me if you are staying at BCV do you have access to use the pool at the Beach Club? I know that may sound like a stupid question.. but i know they used to have you show your key before being able to get into the beach club pool area and if you werent staying at Yacht or Beach club they wouldnt let you in. Any help on this is greatly appreciated!

I am not sure if I am reading your post right, a little confused. But you must be a guest of the Yatch or Beach Club to use the pool. There is no pool hopping at the BC/YC pool. And yes you must show a valid room key. As a gues of YC/Bc you can go to other pools but no other hotel guest scan come to Bc pool. As the way I understand the hopping rule.

As a guest of the villas you can use either pool. Thats where we stay every trip to Beach club as we are DVC members.

If you are staying at the BCV you can use Stormalong Bay. I just did it as of last April. It was so crowded in Stormalong Bay they were checking room keys very closely every day.

In terms of amenities and such, the Villas are considered part of the Beach Club.
