Question about AK Boneyard...

Anybody know what the "gravel" is in the dig site (where the kids unearth the wooly mammoth fossil) at The Boneyard in Animal Kingdom?

I'd like to make a mini version of this at home... Is it commercially available from, say Home Depot or Lowes?

Thanks in advance...

Welcome to WDWMagic!

I would guess it would have to be somthing that is Cheap and is easy to get, as I would imagine they have to frequently replace the gravel..

It's been a while since i visited the boneyard. If memory serves me the gravel is vermiculite. You can find it any garden store.

Thanks, Frank, but I don't think it's vermiculite... that may be the stuff all around the area, but I was referring to the tiny pebbles that are in the pit with the fossil here:

Someone said "pea gravel", but I can't seem to find stuff that small...
