Question about a non-wellness apt

During my last CP I was under 21 so I lived in a wellness apt. Now I'm 21 and I have a few questions about living in a non-wellness. Obviously I can't provide alcohol to minors, I know that, but if I have friends over and there's alcohol are people under 21 still allowed in my apartment? Assuming they aren't drinking of course. I don't really plan on ever having security called, but just in case, if security came and found under 21's while alcohol was out, would that be an issue?

We just went over this stuff in our Welcome meeting here at Vista Way on Monday :D We, as minors, are allowed to be in a non wellness apartment with alchohol in it, but we can't touch it. As soon as it is in our hands, we're breaking the law. So yeah, make sure you provide lots of root beer for your little under 21 friends, lol

it's pretty risky
because if SOMEONE in your nonwellness apartment hands a drink to a minor your ENTIRE apartment is in big trouble

thats how i understood it anyway

It's a really risky situation that I wouldn't advise. I had friends whose entire apartment was kicked out because there was a party where minors were there. They don't care about individual responsibility - they'll blame the whole apartment.

Its a risky thing to do. I'll give you an example from my CP. There was a party at a neighboring apartment building and minors were present. By sheer coincidence, Security came to the door around the same time one friend handed a minor their drink to set on the counter. Because security caught that minor with the drink in his hand, both the minor and the one with the drink were terminated. In this case, they explained what happened, but in some cases no one will admit to it. In that situation, everyone present is terminated.

It sounds like they run a really tight ship, but I know from experience as long as you aren't causing trouble or making too much noise, there is nothing to worry about.

It's fine to visit your friends in a non wellness apartment *makes an innocent face* but yeah, like everyone else has said, you can't drink or touch the drink.

Yeah, I don't plan to have big parties, just friends over, because in a big party it's easy to lose track of who's doing what in your apartment whether what they're doing involves drinking or just nasty things on your couch. I just wanted to make sure that it would be alright to have an open container with a minor present.

All i got to say is they are strict as all hell down there, and the security gaurds for the most part really don't care, its easier for them to just tell everyone go home then deal with ten different stories.

I got really lucky at a party once, there were obviosly people smoking pot, the place reeked. Security showed up and just told everyone to either go back to their own apartments or at least stay in that apartment and get out of the breezeway and staircase. I was surprised since there was actually a real police officer with him for some reason. I've found that as long as you're polite to security and you don't cause any kind of ruckus, they'll be nice to you.

I love him! I also loved the little guy that had braces until just lately, he looked twelve. And then there was a 19 year old who also looked like a little kid, we used to bring him yoohoos.

Yeah, gadget is cool. He was my roomate on a CP at Chatham. We gave him that nickname because the kid carried soooooo many gadgets at one time. Multiple cell phones, a sidekick, gameboy, handheld PC, ect ect...
