Nevermind I found the answer

It's pay in advance but if you're on the DDP or DDxp, how can you book it online without putting it on a credit card or do you pay and then they credit you?

I just returned from WDW a week ago and had dinner at CRT using our Deluxe dining plan.

You must pay ahead (using your credit card) and the total amount will be reimbursed to you as soon as they swipe your credits. (Honestly, I looked at my bank statement online while in WDW to make sure that I was credited my $200.12 and I was--instantly). You'll get it all back :) Oh, and your server will most likely state this when they look at your room card.

Hope this helps!

You're welcome. And remember, it is 2 dining credits/adult (I don't know about the kids...)

It was a fantastic experience. We were a party of 3 adults and they sat us in the middle of the castle, so we were able to see all the princesses coming in as they were announced. We all received a "wishing star" and the two ladies were given princess wands and the men was given a sword. The food tasted great, and the service exceptional! Oh, and when you are called into the castle, be prepared for a picture with Cinderella in the foyer. The cm's were fantastic in taking a picture on our personal cameras individually with Cinderella, and then we received a group picture (it is in your cost already). All-in-all, it took about an hour and a half for dinner and was a great memory of our WDW trip.

Just a side note...obviously, if you book online- you will be charged. HOWEVER, if you call and book via phone- you will NOT be charged if you have DDP or DxDP. Your CC will only be taken to hold the ADR. IF you find the PERFECT time online and are afraid of losing it- book online and then call. It's a 2 man job for them, but they'll have one person cancel the original booking (and get you your refund) and another swoop in to retrieve the time immediately. In fact, I did this about a month ago.

The reason I did not wait until we were at the meal to get the refund...it doesn't go smoothly for everyone.

Last Aug. when we went I booked online and they used my DDP credits - just had to give a credit card # for them to hold the reservation but it was not charged.
I would say if you have little girls you need to dine there once for the princess experience, and just to say you've eaten in the castle. I personally would do breakfast over any other meal. After that, I would use my DDP points elsewhere. Our meal was mediocre at best.

Thank-you for the information. I'll call instead of booking online because I don't want a hassle once we arrive. I agree that eating in the castle is a must do at least one time.

Make sure that you check your bills to be sure they credit you back. I changed a reservation online and it said that it automatically cancels and refunds the existing reservation. Well, it didn't. Took 2 calls and 2 months for them to get it refunded.

I sure will, thank-you.
