Quastion about renting a car at Pop Century

Hi! I want to take my family to the beach while in FL this coming summer. We have a vacation booked at the Pop Century Value Resort. Is it possible to rent a car right in the middle of the week? We'd like to rent a car for two days on Tuesday/Wednesday. If car rental is possible, can you explain to me how it works? Are they onsite...if not, is there a bus to take me to a car retal place...or is there a company that I can call to get me to a car rental place?

Also, if cars are available, how do I rent the car (can I do it online) and how long in advance (can I do it now for the summer)? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks for your help!

We rented a car while staying at Pop. Just call the Alamo/National office (1 hours to 24 hours before you need a pick up) that is on WDW property and they will send a shuttle to pick you up in front of the hotel. They will take you to the Alamo/National office and from there you get your car and be on your way. I booked the car online and then just called the morning I needed to have the car by.

Last trip, I rented a car from Alamo at the Swan & Dolphin (believe it was the Dolphin specifically). No lines or waits, and the rental was waiting for me (immaculate condition). When I returned, all I did was drive up the rental valet, hand over the keys, and that was that. Great experience.
