We have had our dining package free with our holiday but it is the quick service plan. A nice member on here suggested upgrading our package as there were 5 restaurants we wanted to try. Is there a way to go through disney to upgrade our package?. Our travel agent won't upgrade it they say we have to take out a whole new dining plan at £2500 !!!!!!! will disney let us pay the difference for an upgrade? if so how do we do it?

The upgrade is an all or nothing deal, but you should be able to do it. You can't upgrade just those 5 credits, but would need to upgrade your whole party for your entire stay. The cost difference should be $41.99 to $60.64 per night per adult. So $20ish per night. Depending on the length of your stay and size of party, the cost will obviously vary. Disney won't let you yourself make the change since your reservation is actually owned by the TA, so you may need to keep calling until you get them to make the change.

You'll have to call Disney and have them upgrade it for you. We've done this plenty of times. They advertise it as a $19 increase per person per night.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Choose the number you'd like to call from here under "Disney Resort Hotel Reservations": https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/help/phone/
You'll be talking to a machine at first. Just say something along the lines of "modify resort reservation" and it will ask you for your package confirmation number, then you'll be able to talk to a person.

Being they are booked through a travel agent most likely they will not let them make any changes unfortunately. They will have to convince their agent (that seems to not want to help them) to do it for them. My agent was always wonderful (I still did most myself though as I liked to book dining and such myself) and had great experiences but some basically don't know what they are doing out there. Lol :)
