QS plan where is best to go?

We have the free QS dining plan with our package.
Are there any character meals B/L/D included?
Where can I book a table rather than just turn up?
I heard I can swap a meal credit for 3 snacks how do I do that?
(Because it was free and we feel we had a good deal with the rest of the package we are happy to not use it sometimes and pay for meals too)

1. Sorry no characters for quick service, those are all at least 1 TS credit , some 2.

Quick service meals are what the name implies...you order at the counter, pick up your food and find a table.

There are no characters at any quick service locations.

You can swap 1 quick service credit for 3 snacks IN THE SAME TRANSACTION either at a quick service restaurant or a place like the Confectionery or Starbucks. Items that quality as snacks are all marked with the DDP logo.

Thank you with the snack bit that makes live easier because my sister is off resort but we can share the snacks if we are going to a non QS for dinner. it i am at a QS and buy 5 meals for our party can i pay all off my band while hubby and kids stay at the table (and use hobbies another time etc ) or do i need to take all the bands with me.
I understand it is a total of meals per stay not per day so can i use them all up in one day the use hubby band another day......am thinking he will grab a table and seats while i queue for food

You can pay for all meals with a single band. The band "points" to your room account which keeps a running tally of how many total meals you have and how many you have used and how many are left. It does not matter which band is used to pay for your transactions.

You can pre-book breakfast and/or lunch (1 counter service credit each) at 'Be our guest' restaurant in Magic Kingdom. No characters but the theming is absolutely fantastic. I haven't tried either of the counter service meals before but I've got a breakfast reservation for June '16 as well as a table service reservation for my evening meal the night before I return home.

A great way to use the snack credits on the plan is snacking round the world in Epcot. Particularly love Kringla bakery in norway, popcorn in karamel kuche in Germany, shaved ice in Japan and ice cream macaron sandwiches in france as well as les halles bakery in france and cronuts in refreshment port. Something a bit different from mickey bars and pretzels (though they're yummy too!) Free dining is the best!!
