By the end of the weekend all should be right with the world. The Yanks will be back in first and the "bizzaro world" that we have been living in since last October will be behind us.
GO Yanks!
Hahaha don't be offended.robbyk said:The only thing I took true offense to in the last two repies was inferring that I am a bandwagon fan. I have been a Yankee fan since I was seven years old. Back in the days of Reggie, Nettles, Munson and Catfish. I have been a seaon ticket holder since 1993. All the bandwagon fans ( here in CTanyway) have all jumped north to the Red Sox nation. Thats what happens when you win.
The empire still rolls on. We will see what happens by years end. It looks like the last Boston- New York series in September is going to be huge. That is if the Orioles continue to drop off.
  :lol:YankeesFan said:I've always felt that all Yankee fans can be the most difficult folks to deal with. And I'm one of them. The Sox win once every few decades and because of it have a few All-Stars because of it. Enough!! I agree that the world will be better without the Yankees and after the weekend, it will be true. Yanks are back on 'roids and more importantly, I'll be at Disney!! Can we now get back to the monorail thread?!!!
I don't miss the Mark IV. Those slamming doors closed on my leg when I was a kid. It took forever to get a CM to open them to get my leg out.mrtoad said:Excellent stuff! I was only to Disneyland once back in 1977 and I don't remember the monorail at all. I miss the Mark IV at WDW. I use to love listening to the doors slamming and waititing for our turn....

They win once every few decades and because of it have a few All-Stars because of it. Enough!! I agree that the world will be righted after the weekend with everything. Yanks are back on top and more importantly, I'll be at Disney!! Can we now get back to the monorail thread?!!!

But one thing I can't stand people saying are THE YANKEES BUY THEMSELVES A CHAMPIONSHIP.. Can we just sit back and look at last year's Red Sox lineup?
Damon - not a Red Sox product
Manny Ramirez - not a Red Sox product
Dave Ortiz - Not a Red Sox product
Tim Wakefield - Not a Red Sox product
Curt Schilling - Not a Red Sox product
Bill Mueller - not a Red Sox product
Kevin Millar - not a Red Sox product
Keith Foulke - not a Red Sox product
Jason Varitek - not a Red Sox product
The one Red Sox product they traded (Nomar)
This year?? Dave Wells and Matt Clement and Edgar Renteria none are Red Sox products... But such is the nature of the game.. let's not say only the Yankees buy championships...
As for the monorails.... Thanks for the info on the Mark IV's and the pictures as well...
