QS Dining plan question

We are planning a trip for this fall and hoping to use the QS dining plan. My son is a very picky eater, so I have been going through menus for the different parks to make a list of restaurants that I know are a sure thing for him. I have come across some CS restaurants, like Golden Oak Outpost (which I know he would like), that don't offer a kids menu. So how does that work with the dining plan, will an adult credit or kids credit be deducted? Sorry if this question has been asked before. We were at Disney World in the fall of 2011, but we have not used the dining plan before. Thanks.

Your dinning credits are linked altogether. So if you and your son are staying for i.e. 5 days it will just show as 20 QS credits. It doesn't show as 10 adult and 10 child. Hope that helps.

The only time thy differentiate the credits is for table service. QS credits are just one lump of credits that are good for both adult and kids entrees!

Table service takes into consideration adults or kids menu. QS bundles all together. Only certain items are on QS menus at some places.

Also, you can ask for things plain. If the QS serves chili cheese dogs and you don't want the chili on top you can ask for a plain hot dog. We've done this on many occasions as my daughter eats everything plain. Plain hamburgers, plain hot dogs.
