Pullout comfort

Hi All,
My wife and I are tenatively planning a trip for 2010 with my father-in-law. We are thinking of renting points for a studio at AKV and I am wondering about the comfort of the pullout couch.

My F-I-L is 82 and about 6'2" and I am worried about the comfort for him. Of course in a pinch my DW and I could take the couch and give him the bed, but I want everyone to be comfortable.

Any owners or renters have any insight on how it is for an adult, especially one that is older?

My son and his girl friend sleep on one last year and he had no issues with the bed. He is 6' 3" and about 210 pounds.

The newer sofa sleepers are more comfy. Not 82 but am 6'2, Pops should be OK.

The sleepers are comfy, my cousin who had a serious car accident and has issues with his neck and spine had no problems and though not a picky person these days has to be careful.

Your F-I-L should be fine.

My Wifes sister and husband slept on one the last trip we took to the OKW. They are both in their 50's and said it was very comfortable. Hope that helps a little

Just wanted to reiterate what others had been saying, the new pullouts (which is what AKL has) are very comfortable, not liek the old pull outs. Your fil should have no issues.

Thank you everyone for your input. I think that he should have no problem.

We are actually thinking of buying now at AKL.

We are looking forward to testing out the pullout for ourselves.
