Props from Backlot?

Today, as the final operating day of the Studio Backlot Tour I had to go on it one last time, and as I was walking through the queue all I could think about was what's going to happen to all the props in the prop house? Does anybody know?

Probably send them back to the second hand shop that they got them from.

Auctioned off to private collectors....except for the ones that they save for D23 conventions and other special events.

Don't they keep a lot of props with the Group Meetings team? They use them for creating special events that you can book.

They should put the Snowspeeder and Skiff back near Star Tours.

I would imagine some of the props will:

1) Be repurposed in the future for other attractions, resorts, and restaurants

2) Be cataloged and sent to the archives

3) Finally a percentage will be sold to the public

We got to go to Theme Park Connection this past Friday. I could see a majority of it going there for sale. It was very cool to see all the stuff in there.

My favorite part of that ride was seeing the Star Wars vehicles. and I think I was the only person who knew the one ship was from 'Flight of the Navigator.' brought me back to my childhood every time I saw it. Gonna miss that ride.
