I just want to hear about any WDW proposals people have seen or better yet, that people have planned out and executed!

My GF and I have been together for a while and now that we are moving (to FL of all placed :sohappy:) together, I think the time may be coming! It wont be for a few months, once we have moved and settled down a little but I think it may finally happen.

So lets hear 'em! Whether it was on a beach, in front of the castle, etc. i want to hear some stories.

Thanks everyone!

After watching “Wishes” on the roof of the Contemporary I saw a young man turn to his girlfriend and say “My wish is that you marry me” when she said yes we all cheered! I proposed to DW on Boston Common and all the winos cheered, and yet I digress.

lol my fiance proposed to me at MK during wishes in August 2009 and he said "my wish is for you to marry me"! honestly what a great proposal! One thing about ours was that we were on MS watching wishes and he was standing behind me with his arms around me...then about half way through he yelled in my ear DO YOU KNOW WHAT MY WISH IS (lol) so I turned to him and said "my wish is for u to stop screaming in my ear" then when I turned back he had the ring in front of me and said "my wish is for you to marry me" it was such an amazing and special moment....we are getting married august 6th and honeymooning in WDW....many people make fun of us for doing our hm there but it makes us happy and we get to spend two weeks!! with the mouse. To us there is nothing better......good luck on your engagement, i am sure it will be magical :)

I proposed to my girlfriend in March at Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle. It was amazing. The food was good, the atmosphere was good, etc. Everything went perfect! We weren't there for Wishes but I liked being outside the castle so we could hug and look up at them and stuff. They take pictures of everything and bring out the ring in a glass slipper with your names and a special message like "Happily ever after" or whatever you want. It costs about $380 but it was well worth it. When we told the story to friends and family everyone was jealous of my proposal skills, yet it was so easy to do! In the end it won't be where/how you proposed, women aren't as concerned with that as they are with the fact that they're getting married. But it's a pride thing for us guys to make it the best we can, I think.

I proposed to my DW in front of the fountain in France. Not my first choice, but it worked well as she loves France. I was initially thinking of the wishing well in MK, but she was in a grumpy mood that day, and there were kids climbing all over it. Getting her to wait really wasn't an option. France worked well as there was a photopass photographer there, so we got pictures of our engagement. Nice to have as not every one does.

My fiance proposed to me this past May on the beach in front of the Beach Club. After dinner, we were sitting on one of those swinging benches in the sand looking at the Boardwalk. Earlier in the day we had talked about how special our first trip to WDW together was and how all of the other trips were great but still have not beat that one.

This happened to be a surprise trip for me, my bf planned it because my b-day was the day before. He asked me "so how is your birthday trip going? Did I beat our first trip?" I told him the trip was amazing but that it still did not beat the memories of the first one. Then he said, "well, what if I asked you to marry me?" and he pulled out the ring box and got down on one knee in the sand and asked... needless to say, it FAR surpassed our first trip together! LOL
