I noticed that the "Profile" buttons (tabs? links? whatever the correct term is...) are missing from the bottom of posts.

New software? New change? Glitch? My terminal is whacky?

Thank you for the response, gang. I had installed a software firewall yesterday, and you confirmed it was at my end, not wdwmagic. Had to go back and tweak a few settings. Everything okey-dokey!

Hey, I said "my end." **giggles and blushes**

okay speaking of "tweaking" things and firewalls...
when im at home on my dad's computer, he has windows xp and under HIS profile he has full access to the internet. when you sign on under MINE, I can not come onto magic becasue its a restricted travel site, i cant go on my email because its restricted as email
its quite frustraiting, and my dad has no idea why its doing that (which means its not getting fixed)
anyone have any ideas?

Does he use a hardware firewall or software firewall?

Also, is he the only one sent up as an administrator on the system? If yes, he would have to go in under his profile, then check your settings and give you permissions (if that is the problem).

Computers. When they work correctly, they're wonderful. When they don't, good for a few gray hairs!

:hammer:

is he going to have to give me permission for EVERY website??
or is there some kind of setting that makes me allowed to use the internet

If permissions in XP is the problem, then it would just be a one time change. Freak him out, ask him to make you an administrator on his 'puter. :D
