Professional Job

I'm looking for a professional position in Industrial Engineering (IE) field. I've searched the website. It seems that currently the IE Department doesn't have openings. When I was down there, I was told by a CM that usually Disney posted the position internally. I'd like to find out whether there's any way I can send my resume to the IE Dept or at least the HR Dept.

Hi Kiky. I can tell you what I know from my past experiences with Disney and their job website. When you apply for a job and you attach your resume, their system somehow scans it into the database and looks for keywords depending on the job posting. If your resume doesn't match up, you hear nothing. If your resume does match up, you will get a call. It's very frustrating for job hunters to deal with companies, not only Disney, to post jobs externally when they are going to hire someone from within. I don't know any of the laws about job postings but frankly, I would rather not know about a job than to get my hopes up and never hear anything. I know Disney gets an insane amount of applications and resumes and can't possibly answer everyone. Hope that helps and good luck to you!
