Private Messaging

Hi!

I just wanted to remind you all that the rules for the forum also apply to Private Messages. Any harrassment, name-calling etc to other members via Private Messages will be viewed in the same light as it would be if it were on the public forum.

There have been recent cases of members shouting obsenities at other members via PMs. If brought to my attention by the reciever of the PM, it will be acted on in the same way as if it happened in the forum.

It would appear that some "discussions" get quite heated and a bit out of hand.
There is enough hatred outside "The World" - lets keep it friendly in here.
And as for insulting or rude PMs well that is lower than the belly of a snake - c'mon folks, play it by the rules.

If you cannot keep it clean and friendly then you should be posting at a different site.

Sad to think it comes to all that in PM's....a few members and I have taken up our discussions/disagreements thru PMs, but it has never come to anything like that! Everyone I've spoken with has been very kewl - we worked out what we needed to like normal people. Sad that some folks can't though

I agree entirely. Using a PM also makes it more of a threat to the individual, which can be taken to a much higher level than just being banned from the forums.
