Priority Seating

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times before (sorry), but I was looking through waltdisneyworld.com for information regarding priority seating, and found nothing. Does this still existing, and if so how far in advance can you book? I can't decide between 60 and 90 days. Thanks

It's 90 days for everyone.

However, there is a new (confusing to many) policy in effect : if you are staying at a WDW resort, you can call at the 90-day mark and make PS's for your entire trip (up to ten days). I haven't done it myself that way yet, but many people have had success.

Good luck!

They have also changed the name quite a few times: "Advanced Dining Reservations", "Advanced Reservations". I think they are just "Reservations" now. But they will always be "Priority Seatings" to me.

So I have more than a 1 in a trillion chance of Cinderella's Royal Table as I can book upto 97 days in advance, I'm staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge from Dec 26 for a week. Thanks for the great tip.

You can start bookings *finds one of those PS calculator tools* on 9/27 (7am, EST!) if you arrive and check-in on Dec 26. Then, if you're there for a week, you can make ressies through the rest of your trip.

Dec 26-Jan 1 is more a bazillion to 1 type odds, it's the busiest time of year.

Oh - Candelight Processional is already booking it's dinner packages for all the dates and you can buy tickets for the Pleasure Islands or Cirque News Years Eve events already too. Don't want you to miss out cuz they will sell out.

Today started our 90th and I waited on hold for 65 minutes before I got someone to talk to...started dialing right around 7:00am EST. No luck on Cinderella's Royal Table for any of the 8 days we are there for. We are all bummed out. I will keep calling though.

I don't like the new policy. At least with the old way, I had 7-8 chances to get CRT, but with this new way, I am out of luck on 1 chance.

Allowing for the time difference to England, that will be at 12:00. Note to self: get priority seating number programmed into my telephone. Arrange to be some quiet.

Is the breakfast at Akershus in Norway in Epcot as goods an experience?

This is my third try for Cinderella's Breakfast since 2001. Didn't get it yesterday - which was the 90 day before the trip mark. They told me that they reserve 25% of the seats for those of us booking up to 10 days from the 90 day mark. So, you should keep trying every morning as that is still your best chance. (No luck today either!) Anyway, in 2003, we chose Akerhaus since we couldn't get Cindy's. My daughter was thrilled. I plan to book it again in I continue to have no luck with Cindy's. Good Luck!

We made reservations this morning for our trip the first week in December. The guy who I spoke with, "Jud," said that Cinderella's was completely booked for that week. He refered to all the reservations I made as "Advance reservations" so I guess the new terms are in full effect.

The one I talked to on Sunday said to keep trying back because they open up more each day. I have the rest of the trip planned so I will keep trying and may have to more another one if I get CRT. New system stinks though.

If you can't get the castle for breakfast, try for lunch. The characters are there and you have a better chance of getting it. Also if it's Cinderella that you want, try 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian for dinner.

Good Luck!

Finally got CRT this morning. Had my husband on his cell phone and me on mine. He got it for us and the last one for that date. Persistance is the key, but the new system even makes that hard.

Hey, well done. I hope it lives upto expectation.

I've been talking through the dinning options with my elder daughter. The ones she remembers and wants to go back to include The Crystal Palace (curiously enough we live about 5 miles from a place called Crystal Palace in England) and the Sci-Fi Dinner. Does anyone have any other recommendations, especially at the Animal Kingdom?

Help!

I am so excited - I finally got through to get CRT, but somehow I was disconnected before she gave me my Reservation Number. She'd already taken all my information and so I think I am OK, but I don't know if I should call back to try to find out the reservation number! If anyone has any advice, please let me know! Thanks.

We had breakfast at Restaurantasaurus two years ago and we enjoyed it. Characters at breakfast. We've also enjoyed Rainforest Cafe (they had one locally). It's really cool atmosphere. Depends on what you are looking for!

I just did it this weekend and it was very nice. It's convenient not having to make calls every day for a week!! However, one thing I found is that Rainforest Cafe in AK isn't following this new policy. The lady I spoke with said that a few restaurants aren't allowing more than 90 day advance reservations. She wasn't sure what the other restaurants were - she said that she had just been coming upon them as people requested them.
