Hello All,
Well, I only have 8 more days to get ready - so what better way then with a pre-trip report!!! I want to try a post as you go report as well and I now see we can post photos so lets see how that goes.
Who:
RickP - Myself 42YO male, Mechanical Engineer by trade
Maureen - My DGF School teacher by trade
Danielle - My DD 6 yearold Mirmaide wanna be, entering 1st grade this fall
The Trip:
7 days at AKL Club level
Last year just DD and I went to WDW and she is/was a roller coaster chicken. I almost tricked her to go on EE last year - but she didn't fall for it. Since then the "Yeti" has been a subject of folk lore. So we really started watching POV on youtube on the apple TV and we have since mastered the ride (at least on the couch!) so she promises me this year we are going to "trick" the Yeti. We don't talk out loud about it, but we wisper to eachother that we do the ride together and suprise the Yeit. I hope so, it would be cool - lets see if it pans out. Maureen helps alot, she really pulls DD out of her shell - I hope so I think we would all have a blast if we can get her on exciting rides!
Besides that she (DD) is a disney princess freak! All of the princesses are lined up. We have BBB and CRT all set as well.
For ADR's we have the following:
Day 1 - Citricos, Fireworks desert party
Day 2 - BOG
Day 3 - BBB, Brown derby - fantasmic package
Day 4 - CRT, Rose and Crown Illuminations reservation
Day 5 - Spirit of Aloha
Day 6 - SS, Yak and Yeti (of course the YETI!!), Jinko
Day 7 - Kona Kafe (Tonga toast here I come!)
The only thing I am strugling with at the moment is that EE won't be untill the 6th day. I already have DD primed up to ride it now, I think once she does it will break the seal and we should be able to ride anything we want at that point, after all I think EE is one of scariest rides. I don't think I will hit her with RR, ToT yet thought.
We have a plan to possible hit EE on the very first day very first thing, but we really wanted to relax and enjoy the resort on our first day. Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks for following!!
