princesses + princes @ MNSSHP

I've heard they are the most popular characters besides the dwarves and our main priority characters wise this year at the party. Some sites are saying to line up for them as early as 6:30, while others say go as late as possible because the line is clogged with day guests before the party. What are your strategies on meeting them?

We love meet and greets! When we went to MNSSHP we got in line at the Town Square Theater at about 6:45 and we were one of the first there. The CM standing at the front of Town Square Theater said they were closed and would open at 7, but we went on and stood in line, as did other people. We were out by 7:10 at the latest. We saw Rapunzel, Snow White, and Cinderella with each of their princes. We did not wait for Aurora and her prince, so I don't know about those wait times. Have a great trip! You will have a blast at the party.:)

Because Aurora and Phillip were not in the TST I did not wait long at all to see them. I got there before their next set which helped too.

For the OP, I'm not sure how or who will be doing the Prince/Princess sets this year. My guess is that they'll be at Fairytale Hall in Fantasyland which is expected to open around September 18 (so for the parties on the 10th and 13th I'd say soft openings) and it will be Aurora/Cinderella/Rapunzel like during True Love Week (Belle would be at her cottage). My suggestion would be to get there 15 min before 7pm like @Much-Pixie-Dust said.

I'm also going to guess that Jack and Sally will be where the princesses are now in the Town Square Theater.

I am taking my niece to MNSSHP this year and I am hoping to get their early to get a few M&G in before we do other things. I am hoping that there is a schedule of the night for other entertainment (M&G parades fireworks etc.) Will it be similar to other years?

If the Prince and Princess' together are a priority, then I would get there right when it starts, you may have the benefit of it not being that busy, as Jack and Sally are going to take a lot of people. Also, you are going to watn to get it done before the Boo to You Parade. The dwarves wait for us last year was about an hour and a half, and I imagine Jack and Sally will be the main draw this year.

Most likely. They'll probably do the parade at 8 and 11pm with the fireworks at 9pm. Meet and greets run all night, but in "sets" with breaks for the CMs.

Last year I got in line at 8:40 - wait was less than 15 min. I would say dwarfs and jack are the longest lines; here is my report from last year (includes character wait times & photos):

Thanks for sharing!! I am planning on going 2nd week of October this year. It is my first time going, What are the "Must Do's"? I do have a 6 year old coming along who is afraid of the evil characters.

For a first timer I would say the must dos are the parade and fireworks. I also recommend getting the Photopass Magic Shots next to the Haunted Mansion, they are only available at the parties. Doesn't mean you have to buy them, but they are fun to check out once you get back home.

Since you're not going until Oct, you'll have a chance to see what characters will be out this year after the first party (several changes are happening, Disney has already announced that Jack/Sally are replacing the Phineas/Ferb M&G and Sulley/Mike are replacing the Stitch dance party). Take a look at that list, there are several characters that only appear during parties (Tarzan, Jane, Sparrow, Dwarfs) and make sure you hit the ones that you want to!

Avoid the Castle Show to avoid the villains, or watch it from afar (it's a great show). After the first party, reports will indicate where other villains will be located.

Girl or boy? If girl, I would definitely recommend meeting the princesses/princes. 7 Dwarves are fun for both. Definitely see the parade

The lines are longer between the two parades. Most people want to find their spot for the Villains Mix-n-Mingle and the parade, so they stake those out in the beginning. After that parade, they start visiting M&G, candy stations, and attractions. After the 2nd parade, you can almost walk up to the characters, as the park begins to really thin out.

The only ones my daughter wants to meet is Jack and Sally. Of course I want to meet Flynn and Rapunzel, but those are the only ones we will be trying for. We have dinner at MK at 4:40, so right after dinner we will be hanging around the front of the park to meet these characters.
