Looking at the breakfast buffet. What was it like? We will enjoy it? Anyone know the cost? We are going in mid July? Thanks for any information.

We love it. For our daughter, age 7, it is her favorite. You get 4-5 princesses at one meal (you can pretty much count on Belle for a posed photo, then some combination of human Ariel, Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Mulan, Jasmine, and Mary Poppins - at least that is who we have seen). Each princess comes to the table and does the standard chat with photos and autographs. There is also a Princess Parade through the restaurant (we could personally do without it, but the kids love it).

Foodwise, it is nothing special. The Liganberry muffins are one of our favorite Disney pastries. They have smoked fish on the buffet which is at least slightly unique and the cooked food is presented at your table on a platter. Our DD loves the potato casserole.

For our money, it is the best princess experience on property. As much as the Royal Table at MK is nice, this is MUCH cheaper and to us feels more personal.

We were actually looking into doing lunch or dinner on our next visit for a change of pace. We a family of big breakfast eaters, so we've never really thought about doing one of the other meals.

Would love to hear about the food at lunch/dinner from someone!

Never had breakfast there, but I have been there several times for dinner. Really enjoyed it especially the Norweign beer. The granddaughter really enjoyed the princesses. Really nice because when you enter your child or adults if they want get to take a picture with on of the priincess. Of course, they come around after and offer you a picture package. Which we buy!!!

Anyone done lunch there? Is it just as special? Thanks second poster for all the info!

We had lunch there back in December. While I didn't love my entree (kjottkake), everyone else LOVED theirs. DH got the chicken sandwich and my mom got the mushroom ravioli. They both still talk about their meals. The dessert was mediocre at best, but the salad/appetizer bar we had before the meal was sooooo my thing...smoked salmon, cold cuts, salads, and CHEESE :D And minus a lackluster Belle, the princess interaction in there was excellent!!!

My only real complaint was the check in/wait process. We arrived early (about 20 min) and were seated late (about 20 min)- which wouldn't have been a big deal if the process didn't feel like controlled chaos. You could barely hear the girl calling out names so everyone was kind of packing in around that portion of the check in stand (and there was a considerable crowd) and none of them knew just how long the wait would be - so we were too afraid to have DH go off with DD4 and ride Maelstrom.

While it ate up a chunk of our day- it really was a great time and decent food. We're going back for dinner next month...and I hope the wait isn't nearly as bad.
