So ladies, what are you going to wear? Do you get all festive and wear lots of frilly stuff and a crown?? I've been searching for running-friendly garb and it is a bit of a challenge. I am not going to be trying to break my P.R. or anything, because the course is too much fun, and full of fun distractions, but it is still 13.1 miles, and you still have to be somewhat comfortable.

So where do you find a running-friendly princess crown/headband thing??

What else will you do for outfit fun?

I use a halloween type petticoat for the race to run in. Its mesh and so much lighter than alot of tutus that you can find, and plus its pretty cheap at around 15bucks. you can also get some for pretty cheap on amazon.com plus since they are suppose to go under a costume, they flare out so they arent hitting your legs the entire time. then i just wear short running shorts underneath.

In 2009, when I ran the event, I just wore a pink running skirt. I always wear a bandana on my head when working out. I found princess fabric and used that in place of my usual bandana. Nothing to elaborate for me. :king:

I'm going to be boring and just wear regular old running clothes...but they will be pink and green! My brother is running the race with me and somehow I doubt he's put much thought into what he's going to wear. :lol:

Of course my son wants me to go all out and wear a disney princess costume! Well that is not happening, but i was thinking of doing something more girly than my typical black running tights. Maybe a pink running dress or something.
