When Disney announced Aladdin will be coming to broadway next year when Marry Poppins is finished, Thomas Schumacher did mention that they're currently putting in the works a Hunchback of Notre Dame musical, Dumbo Musical, a Shakespeare adaptation play, and 7 other things that weren't mentioned in the online article. I forget the website this was posted on but was put up just recently like a few days ago. Out of these, I would definitely be in favor of a Hunchback of Notre Dame musical as it would present IMHO the most opportunistic musical to be finacially successful on broadway of the one's here mentioned behind Aladdin.

They might just be making them for their popular Broadway Jr/ Broadway Kids line with Music Theater International. Lot's of Schools do Jr and Kids Versions of Disney Movies. I directed an Elementary School version of Alice in wonderland a few years ago. Although Aladdin Jr was one of their most popular titles and now a version it is making it's way to Broadway.

I also feel that Tiana is fine were she is, Liberty Square near the riverboat, what does Fantasyland and castles have to do with her? and Jasmine where she is...
It would have been nice to have Snow White and the 7 dwarfs meet at the Mine ride, but if there is no room then so be it...
However I hope that the 'magic' that they had planned for the Snow White and Sleeping Beauty Cottages will be incorporated into the new meet and greet.

Wow I'm well aware of this.. Calm down there. Their accents are totally different is all I was saying.. Clearly Disney thinks the same by not debuting her there as she debuted in Future World sooo the rest is for you guys to fight out.

Internet kids, good lord..

Unrelated... Epcot is the testing ground for most new characters (Rapunzel and Flynn appeared there just the year before, a week prior to their MK location opening) They typically appear in Future World or International Gateway. Has nothing to do with the character/story line, just standard operating procedures.

The music is probably one of the best scores in any Disney film I heard it might be going to broadway soon. Now that is something I would love to see.

Stage show already exists; Disney produced a stage version which ran for 3 years in Germany, premiered in 1999. Some of the new songs are beautiful - this version of Esmerelda (performed by WDW Cast Members) is chilling. The characters in the this song are Frollo, Phoebus, and Quasimodo.

Speaking of Hunchback, Clopin's Music Box (Festival of Fools) is being installed in Fantasy Faire.

This is My theory:
Whoever is in the Princess Meet and greet at the Town Square Theater will most likely be meeting there except Belle because of her own Meet and greet. Ariel is in her grotto so she's most likely out too. So Cinderella, Aurora and Tiana seem like strong potentials for this area. I'm not quite sure about Rapunzel, it looks like she'll have her own area once it's finished. I'm thinking that until the mine car train gets finished Snow white will make her home there too. Then be traded off for the next princess from the movie Frozen if she's still being considered for the next official princess title. If Pocahontas comes to MK she might be in adventureland where Ariel and Eric met (or maybe the pirates will take over that spot again), Jasmine and Aladdin look like they have a spot in adventureland too and Mulan has a place in Epcot. I guess we just have to wait and see what happens.

Greetings first time poster and Welcome to WDWMAGIC!:) Those are good suggestion however lets look at the situation. You have Belle at ETWB. Ariel at her grotto. Cinderella, Aurora, Tiana, and Jasmine going into PFH most likely. You have SW possibly going into that M&G area adjacent to where the mine train will be located. Rapunzel seems to be getting a M&G area near her restrooms. Merida is still at that Fantasyland outdoor theater area. The best way to do this is to basically put Cindy, Snow, Aurora, and Jasmine in PFH. Put Tiana in the spot she's at now in Liberty Square. Put Merida and Pochahontas in the TST. Then you can put Anna (princess from Frozen) into the area Merida is in now. So you'll pretty much have a rotating cycle going on with these princess meet and greets except for the ones in PFH. Yep all we can do is wait and see what happens.

It should be noted that in the stage version, they stay true to the real Hunchback, and Esmerelda dies. I would hope that if it does end up on Broadway, Disney is brave enough to present it as they did in Europe.

All evidence is that there will NOT be a Rapunzel M&G by the restrooms.
