No. No one is contracted for another, and Hathaway has expressed her desire to not play that kind of role anymore.

As a big fan of the Princess Diaries books, I hope not! The 1st movie was pretty good but after that...no. The 2nd movie had absolutely nothing to do with the books, which are way better.
Try reading the books the 1st movie was based on...they're written by Meg Cabot and are very good.

One thing about the book that showed it was written by an american was the fact the Mia was the illigetamate daughter, when in reality only the children of married royalty can inherit (i know monaco has one that inherited but the recently changed the law to stop Rainer's illigetamte grandchildren inheriting) any how can they do a third film at the end of the 2nd film she became queen so no longer a princess.
