Saw the movie last night at a sneak preview. I was a little perplexed. One of the trailer scenes wasn't in the movie at all. Hmmm?????

Other than that....The movie was great. My 13 yr old son loved it. He says he thinks they left it for a 3rd installment. They could. It was hilarious. It was as good as the first one and maybe even better. I hope everyone goes and checks this movie out. I would give it 3 1/2 out of 4 stars. There are a couple scenes I thought were a little puzzling. All in all it was quite good and everyo laughed and cheered in the theatre. By the way, the theatre was PACKED, not a seat left.

My kids can't wait.

Maybe this scene with be in the DVD version. I know there was a trailer for Return of the King that showed Eomer weeping over the bodies of Eowyn and Theoden after Eowyn killed the Head Nazgul. This is in the book as well, but it was no where to be seen in the movie. I assume that it will be in the directors cut due out in November.

Are all the same characters back for the second movie. I know that Hathaway and Julie Andrews are back. I think the security guy is back as well. How about Mia's friend and her brother that Mia danced with at the end and got the ol' foot pop.

I know, I can't believe I typed it either. So how about them Bengals. . .

Spoilers but answering james

Mia's friend Lilly is in this movie as well. Her mother and the teacher now step-dad makes an appearance. The boyfriend/Lilly's brother is not in the movie. However, it is all explained in the very beginning. Some of the parliament people are the same. Like I said it was very good and you will love it. Maybe this can be the beginning of the upturn for Disney movies for the rest of this season.

Watched the movie and thought it was adorable. I dragged some of my friends to watch it with me. They were insisting that they shouldn't watch a "girlie" movie, but they ended up loving it. Or maybe loving Anne Hathaway?

Tiggirl, let us know how it goes at the Princess Tea luncheon. My friend is taking her daughter to El Captian for the Princess tea party and she'll be dressing up her daughter in a princess dress.

I saw the film tonight. The first twenty minutes were slow and pretty bad. . . but different aspects (especially ACTING) got tremendously better later on -- and I absolutely enjoyed it!

BEST PARTS: Julie Andrews SINGING!! (Not exactly rap, how Disney Channel makes it out to be) -- and also the GENOVIA song at the end.

VERY cool hearing songs - not the ones sung in the background, but those sung actually by characters - dominant in a Disney film again!!

We loved this movie. :sohappy:

I liked how they linked the first & second together & I have to agree with a previous poster...looks like the left it open for another installment. It will be interesting to see just what type of Queen she will be.
