Primeval Whirl at AK today 9/5...

Spent a sticky day at AK and was forced into Dinoland by the kids. While melting on Triceratops Spin I noticed that Primevil Whirl was running empty cars. Walls still up, saw no workers or WDW personnel milling about. Was hoping it was a sign it would be up and running. Oh and Yeti was in full A mode

I assume the Yeti isn't actually fixed. How has DAK been capacity wise with Primeval Whirl being down for so long?

As far as I know there is currently no projected reopening date for Primeval Whirl, but I wouldn't expect much activity anytime soon.

Primeval Whirl is scheduled to open next week, but I also think it could get backed up giving what has happened. I guess it all depends on if OSHA is done with their investigation or not. The sign of them running the cars is a positive.

Ah yes, I do see, it does seem scheduled to re-open the 15th, that does seem positive, the last several times I checked it was indefinite. That being said, the buzz that I've been hearing has not been so positive, but perhaps that's all it is, buzz, and it may reopen after all. Only time will tell.

I can assure you the Yeti was in "B" mode all last week.

Strobes were working. The upside is the repositioning of the Yeti seems to have more people actually notice that it's there. :king:

Was there last week and rode EE several times, half the time I couldn't see it at all (and I was looking)!

Sorry! My android died about 2 hours after my post...damn Animal Kingdom rain! Anyway I was joking about Yeti! The trip was great...Some other things I noticed:
The monorails were down, a lot, especially when my kids were the most tired and cranky. We left MK at 2.30 and didn't get to our car until 3.45 due to Monorail Teal going down. It sucked..
Big Thunder Mt boulders were NOT working
Small world seemed to be missing several dolls, dancing girls by taj mahal, fire dancing boys....
As others have posted Pirates was down for a while and when we were on Hat man only had one hat, kids missed the octopus man in the mist
Am in a chick fil a in Valdosta and need to make Macon for the night, if I remember anything else will post

If it's any consolation to us WDW fans, the boulders on Thunder Mountain in Disneyland don't work either.
