prices dropping

Just went on to jetblue.com yesterday and the price of our flights had dropped drastically. So I called and got $204 in credits to book another flight in the next year! My in-laws that are joining us the second day of our trip got $260 in credits.

So we decided to check on our car rental as well and rebooked at a savings of $80.

I am so psyched!!!!!!!!

Just figured I would let you all know so that maybe you too can save some money!

I know you can do this with jetblue and airtran, not sure about other airlines. We booked these tickets with $120 in credits I had from an earlier trip.

44 days to go :xmas::sohappy:

I checked on my flight with US Air, and it has gone down by $100 for the 4 of us, but there's a $150 charge for changes made to reservations. I guess I'll just keep checking.

Did you call? They usually only charge that fee when you want to change anything about the flight (time, day, etc), not when the price goes down. Apparently Airtran is now charging $15 per person for calling and requesting the lower price, but Jet blue and Southwest don't charge anything when you call and ask for the lower fee...I just did this 3 times with Jetblue :)! If you haven't tried calling about it, it may be worth it! good luck!

Thanks! I just booked a last minute trip on Friday and got fares from New York (Westchester) to Orlando at $79 and $74 the way back!
Never flown on JB before, should be interesting!~

Hi: I fly in and out of Westchester all the time now on JetBlue and will be doing so again on December 1st. JetBlue is the best and HPN is such a small airport and you save a lot of time without any hassle! Enjoy your trip!
